We’re sure you’re looking forward to the first episodes of the second season of Younger. It’s finally back on TV Land!
The second season of the show starts on January 13, 2016. Younger is a popular American TV comedy-drama series airing on TV Land. The idea was taken from the novel written by Pamela Redmond Satran. The director and the main creator of the TV adaption is Darren Star (already famous for Sex and the City and Melrose Place).
Younger premiered with its first season on TV Land in March, 2015. It consisted of 12 episodes 30 minutes each. At that time, Younger managed to attract attention of half a million viewers.
It’s a show about generational gaps and missed chances and about the woman coping with her life after raising a child — but it won’t look the way you probably expect it.
Get ready to meet your favorite characters, cause all the gang is finally back! Sutton Foster, Miriam Shor, Debbie Mazar, Nico Tortorella and gorgeous Hillary Duff are coming back to the story for one more crazy and unpredictable twisted season!
Younger – is a story about a woman in her forties, Liza. She’s a divorced mother from New York looking for a job. Finally, she finds a nice job in publishing business and gets acquainted to a 26-year-old tattoo artist Josh starting both confusing and exciting relationship with him. She succeeds in working as a model. But she also has to deal with edgy Diana while balancing her “real” everyday life with her best friend Maggie, and her “unreal” life with her new friend Kelsey.
But the things are not that easy and habitual as they may seem.
Liza has lied in her resume a lot. The most important thing is that she lied about her age and entry level publishing position. She is 40 in reality but a 26 year old in her “unreal” life. All her relationships totally depend on the way she manages to deal with all these mismatches.
The first special premiere episode in the season is promised to be an hour long!
It seems that Josh is going to have some competition in the second season, cause Liza and Charles will continue their unstable flirtation. (No matter if everyone really hopes they won’t, they surely will.) The actors themselves say that the situation with Liza is inevitable and impossible at the same time.
Looks like Kelsey will give Thad a fighting chance in their relationships. Maggie is trying it with Lauren.
