Silicon Valley Season 4

Silicon Valley is a comedy TV series created and released in the USA. The creators of the series and the authors of the original idea are Mike Judge, John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky. The series’ plot revolves around a group of young people founding a startup in Silicon Valley. The first season release date is the 6th of April 2014. The release was carried out by HBO channel. Silicon Valley season 4 release date hasn’t been announced yet, but the series has been officially renewed for the fourth installment.


The action of every new episode of Silicon Valley revolves in the atmosphere of the 80s. That’s a period of extreme technological development. Silicon Valley is filled with numerous IT specialists and engineers. Only most qualified and persistent can become successful in this sphere. This comedy series is partially inspired by the experience of Mike Judge working in Silicon Valley in the 80s.

Cast & Characters

  • Thomas Middleditch portrays a Stanford University dropout named Richard Hendricks. He’s quiet and shy. However, he’s emotionally unstable with his periodical outbursts. He experiences constant struggles trying to correspond to new demands of the developing world of business.
  • T. J. Miller portrays a confident entrepreneur named Erlich Bachman. Owns an innovation incubator in his home which makes him quite a successful businessman working with Pied Piper. The trouble is that he’s addicted to marijuana.
  • Josh Brener portrays a former tenant of Erlich’s incubator named Nelson Bighetti, who is often called Big Head. Starts working on Pied Piper and eventually gets a promotion – he’s asked to work on Nucleus software for Hooli. However, his lack of technical knowledge made nothing good and Nelson had to leave Hooli.
  • Martin Starr portrays a network engineer from Canada named Bertram Gilfoyle. He credits himself as an expert in online security. Works as Pied Piper system architect.

 Silicon Valley Season 4

  • Kumail Nanjiani portrays a programmer named Dinesh Chugtai originating from Islamabad, Pakistan. He is often pranked by Gilfoyle. Dinesh feels sarcastic towards his team members. Tends to be amoral in some situations.
  • Zach Woods portrays a former Hooli employee named Donald Dunn, referred to as Jared. Quits Hooli to become one of the Pied Piper team members. Works as a business advisor. He’s reserved but confident.

4th Season Air Date

Silicon Valley Season 4

Season one of Silicon Valley was made up of 8 episodes. The series got back to TV screens for the second installment on the 12th of April 2015. Season 3 started on the 24th of April 2016. In April of 2016, HBO channel made the official announcement about the release of season 4 in 2017. We will let you know more when we find out the date of the 4th installment of the series.
