In the center of the plot of Mercy Street season 2 episode 1 there is a Story about the lives of two nurses are on opposite sides of the Civil War of 1861-1865. Mary Finney stands for New England, and Emma Green is a supporter of the Confederacy. The paths of these two women meet at luxury hotel The Green, which is located in Alexandria, Virginia. During the war it was turned into a hospital the Union Army. There gets wounded officer, whose fate is very concerned about the two girls.
