In The Man in the High Castle season 2 premiere the plot is an alternative hiStory of the world in which the Axis won World War II. The United States has been occupied and divided into three parts: the Japanese puppet state of the Pacific States, which occupies the territory west of the Rocky Mountains of the former United States; Nazi puppet state, which includes the eastern part of the former United States; and the neutral zone, which acts as a buffer zone between the two parts and which was called the Rocky Mountain States.
