Such a genre as sitcom has won the hearts of the audience. Everyone knows that there are a great many of such comedy shows, and the rating of many of them in the world is very high. Striking examples of such a projects are “Friends”, “The Theory of Big Bang”, etc. Another American project, which can be considered a success even though only one season has been presented by this moment, is “Kevin Can Wait”. Charismatic actors have already become idols for many viewers and the fans of the series have a serious question to the creators: when will “Kevin Can Wait” season 2 begin? The main characters of “Kevin Can Wait” are:
- Kevin Gable (a famous American comic and scriptwriter Kevin James). He plays the role a retired policeman who supposed to spend the second half of his life with friends of his and his family, but not al his plans turned to be real;
- Donna Gable (an American actress Erinn Hayes) is Kevin’s wife;
- Taylor Spreitler, James DiGiacomo and young Mary-Charles Jones play the roles of Kevin and Donna’s children. They make the life of his father not so calm as he would it to be and introduce new problems making a retired Kevin adjust to a new way of life.
When new season premiere take place it will be known if the life of the Gables has changed or not and what challenges are waiting for the family man.
Ratings and Possible Renewal
While judging according to the rating of expectations of “Kevin Can Wait” the renewed season is being awaited by about 11 millions of viewers. Critics’ feedbacks, however, are different: they are both positive and negative. On a respected site IMDB the rating of the series is 5.6/10.
Despite charismatic acting of the main characters a great part of the audience consider the show not to be very funny. Anyway, the new season air date is still unknown as the creators haven’t declared any official announcements yet. The fans of “Kevin Can Wait” hope for the return of their favorite program and are waiting for coming any information about the second season release date to appear on the Internet quite soon.
