The story is about an Oslo policeman Viggo Lust who has lost his little daughter. Four years he has been investigating the case of his daughter kidnapping while doing his duly job. This case has not a single clue so when something is happening like a dead body found in the forest Viggo is connecting it with his daughter Christina. Mari Friis is working under the case along with Viggo. In the last episode Viggo discovers the truth about Christina but runs into danger and difficulties.
The second season is not less challenging. Releasing in March 2016 it follows up a success thus fans are waiting for a new season of Det Tredje Øye Release Date. The plot story of the 2nd season focuses on Viggo`s work in Oslo Police. He has a new partner Ståle but repair his relationship with Mari Friis. He is working on new cases but the visions of Christina keep following him.
