Brooklyn Nine-Nine is a police sitcom created and released on American television. The release was carried out by Fox channel with the first season release date on the 17th of September 2013. The show attracted more than 6 million viewers. Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 5 release date hasn’t been announced yet, but the show is still going.


The action of every new episode of the series revolves in NYC, in a fictional police department in Brooklyn. Brooklyn Nine-Nine concentrates on a group of detectives controlled by Captain Ray Holt. Jake Peralta is one of the detectives in the team with a carefree relaxed attitude to everything they do, however, he often tops the squad, which annoys one of his colleagues named Amy Santiago. Charles Boyle – another detective in the team, who’s talented and determined. He got used to hiding his emotions, which serves as a contrast to one more member of the team named Rosa Diaz. The results of investigations are reported to Sergeant Terry Jeffords – a faithful family man who’s not willing to participate in active police work due to his tragic experience.

The show was called charming and intelligently written. It’s perfectly led by a marvelous cast. This cop show format surely has a successful future on television. The characters are appealing and wacky gags never spoil the general impression of the show. The critics’ reviews are mostly favorable.

5th Season Air Date

On the 24th of March 2016 Brooklyn Nine-Nine was prolonged for season 4, which wrapped up on the 1st of January 2017 and the further fate of the series is still unknown, however, it’s evident that some of the plotlines haven’t been concluded yet.
