Breaking Amish is a reality TV series created and released in the USA. The release was carried out by TLC TV network with the first season release date on the 9th of September 2012. Every new episode of the show concentrates on a group of Anabaptist adults moving to New York City in search of new life and new life experiences. They try to plunge into the new community facing criticism of members of their families and friends. They try to start new work, find new acquaintances, get involved in new romance and develop a totally new lifestyle. Every step they make is intercepted with dramatic or positive situations. Breaking Amish season 6 release date hasn’t been announced yet, but the show isn’t canceled.
About
The members of the cast move to NYC to have a fresh twist in life. They’ve chosen the Big Apple in order to have a shocking, but yet positive experience of new life that will certainly teach them usual everyday realities. All of the participants have grown with a certain religious upbringing. They aren’t allowed to contact the world outside until they’re 16. After that, they’re free to choose whether they’re willing to continue living outside the community or stay with their families. When they choose to leave the community, the families aren’t always supportive. These youngsters are in search of new opportunities that are mostly connected with new challenges. They get jobs, find love, make their first tattoos, have driving lessons and try to balance it all with the opinion of their families.
Controversy
After the very first release, numerous controversial situations became known. Right after the airing, it turned out that several members of the cast have already been married. They did that before leaving the community. It was also reported that relationships between the members of the cast were fake. The way they treated each other on cameras was represented not the way it was in reality. With every new episode, the production revealed the cast’s multiple indecent activities.
6th Season Air Date
On the 14th of June 2016, Breaking Amish reality series was prolonged to season 5 (named Return to Amish season three which later became a part of the Breaking Amish series in its 5th installment). It was released on the 10th of July 2016. TLC channel revealed a trailer demonstrating that most of the cast gets back to the show. Season 6 release date hasn’t been announced yet. We’re still waiting for the news from TLC.
