Worst Cooks in America Season 10

Worst Cooks in America is a reality TV competition project released by Food Network channel. Worst Cooks focuses on groups of contestants consisting of twelve or sixteen participants. They are mostly called "recruits". These recruits have nothing to do with typical participants of cookery competitions. Their cooking skills are poor with almost no practice or inborn talent. The participants have to survive eight weeks in a culinary camp. Their aim is to get a prize of $25,000 in cash. The additional prize is a cooking set from Food Network. In every new episode of the show, the cooks are trained to develop numerous basic techniques in cooking. They learn how to do the baking, how to work with knives, how to follow the temperature, what is seasoning and why preparation is important. Everything ends up in the final challenge where the unfortunate cooks create a three-course meal for the judges.

History, Cast & Production

The first season premiere episode was released on the 3rd of January 2010. The initial host of the project were Anne Burrell and chef Beau MacMillan – professional experienced chefs. Later, MacMillan was changed for Robert Irvine in the second season. In seasons 3-5 Irvine was changed for Bobby Flay. On the 20th of November 2014, Food Network made an official announcement about Tyler Florence working together with chef Anne Burrell to present Worst Cooks in America in its 6th season. Season 6 new episode was released on the 4th of January 2015. Burrell was the leading instructor and mentor in first, second, third, sixth, seventh and eighth seasons all together with Flay from seasons 4–5. Seventh season was hosted by Rachael Ray and Anne Burrell. It was a unique version of the show with celebrities participating in it. It premiered on the 23rd of September 2015. Trailer for season 8 was shown while the eighth season was being released.

Now the show is in its ninth season that started airing on the 14th of September and continues up to the present. Tenth season release date remains unknown for now.

The show is now in its 9th season and there’s no official info on when the reality series will be continued. The show hasn’t been shut down yet and season 10 is certainly on the go, cause Worst Cooks in America enjoys numerous positive reviews from critics and viewers.
