The original manga

Nisekoi Season 3 Poster
A romantic story about a fake relationship, titled Nisekoi (“False Love”), was made by the studio Shaft. The series is based on the manga written by Naoshi Komi. He published it in two different magazines. Its English version appeared in December 2011. The English-language anthology magazine “Weekly Shonen Jump Alpha” started printing the ranobe in January 2012. By January 2014, the manga included ten complete books.  The written books were also published by the printing company Viz Media.

Is the storyline exciting?

The plot unfolds around a high school student, Raku Ichize, who belongs to a Yakuza clan. It is a romantic story that in some ways reminds about Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet”. However, there’s a twist, it is the parents who want the young ones to be together. The main character has to pretend that he has feelings for Chitoge Kirisaki, the heir to another Yakuza clan. But they both hate each other.
They meet each other by chance (or so they think) when Raku loses his pendant, his ex-lover’s gift. And then, Chitoge helps him to find it. However, this meeting turns out to be not so accidental. Their parents have decided to make them a couple to make their clans related to each other and bring their enmity to an end.
But Raku and Chitoge can’t stand each other. That’s why it is difficult for them to pretend they love each other, although they have decided to show off their fake relationship. Moreover, Raku falls in love with his classmate Kosaki Onodera, a pretty kind girl notable for her extreme shyness. His love is shared by Kosaki. But due to her shyness, she can’t say him about her feelings.
The situation is getting more complicated and tangled due to some stupid coincidences and "help" from minor characters. Chitoge’s bodyguard, a woman killer Tsugumi and Raku’s another schoolmate Marika Tachibana have all had contributed to the plot twists.

Update: Nisekoi Season 3 Status

We have to be hopeful but, at the same time, we cannot be too hopeful. The producers are yet to say their piece, but the fans are gradually accepting the fact that there may not be a season 3 after all. As sad as that is.
Perhaps, it is not so, after all, those are just rumors, but it looks more and more likely as time marches on. We will do our best to keep you updated.
