Moana is another upcoming animated movie from Disney. Not only is it much-awaited by the youngsters but bu the adults as well. Let’s see what we know about the film and its release date.
What we know about Moana
Moana is the 56th animated movie made by the Disney Studios. Moana is created and directed by Ron Clements and John Musker; they both have previously worked on such projects as The Princess and the Frog, Aladdin, The Little Mermaid, and Treasure Planet. New color technology CGI will be used in the movie, which will make it stand out.
The plot of Moana
The story of Moana is based on motifs of Polynesian myths, and it takes place 2,000 years ago on the Pacific islands. Moana Waialiki is a 14-year-old girl who sets off into the ocean on a boat, to find the legendary island fabled by her ancestors. An assistant joins her, who turns out to be a demi-god Maui. Her journey will be long and painful, but beautiful, which will be emphasized by the new color technology used by the film’s makers.
The new Disney full-feature animation will be released on November 23, 2016, in the US. Some time after that, we can also expect the Moana DVD and Blu-ray releases.
