Disney Channel has scheduled the Star Wars: Episode VIII release long ago. The world has never seen such a huge base of film sagas’ fans before the emergence of the earliest Star Wars episodes. Are you a part of this immense army?

The new upcoming chapter has been scheduled for release in March 2015 under the title Star Wars: Episode VIII. It has also been revealed that a spin-off to the franchise is on its way. The film will be titled Star Wars: The Outlaw, and it will be directed by Gareth Edwards.

The story

We can remember that the eighth episode is not the only one that is planned. Overall, three new Star Wars movies are expected in the following years. In summer 2014, the director of Looper, Ryan Johnson, was appointed as the director of Star Wars: Episode VIII. He will also act as a writer for Episode IX.

Interesting

The new movie, Star Wars: Episode VIII, will be released on May 26th, 2017. In 2016, we will finally learn when the film will be out on DVD and Blu-ray.
