Plot
The central character of Kidnap is Karla McCoy (portrayed by Halle Berry). Her life is perfect – she lives together with Frankie, her son (portrayed by Sage Correa). One day they get for a walk in the park and Karla’s son gets abducted. A loving mother is willing to save her son’s life, that’s why she gets on her personal mission to get her beloved child back. She isn’t looking for anyone’s help – she explores the neighborhood and talks to the citizens in order to get Frankie back home.
Main Cast
Not all of the characters are known and the cast isn’t clear. However, there’s something that we managed to get:
- Halle Berry will act as Karla McCoy – the main character of Kidnap. She’s Frankie’s mom desperately searching for her missing child.
- Sage Correa portrays Frankie McCoy. He’s the abducted Karla’s son. Disappears while walking in the park with his mom.
- Lew Temple (role is unknown)

Production
The principal photography and filming of Kidnap started on the 27th of October 2014. It happened in New Orleans, Louisiana. In November of the same year, the crew move to Slidell. The filming ended on the 7th of December 2014.
Development & Release for Kidnap
Initially, Kidnap was planned to be released on the 9th of October 2015. In July of 2015, Relativity Media had to push the project back to the 26th of February 26. It happened because of company’s financial troubles. The film was pushed to the 13th of May 2016. Now the release date is moved to the 2nd of September 2016.
