“Dazed and Confused” is finally getting its spiritual sequel. The director of it is Richard Linklater. He gets back to work on the sport comedy-drama film about young people living in the 1980s. The official release date in the USA is the 8th of April, 2016.

Get ready to meet Zoey Deutch    in the role of Beverly, Tyler Hoechlin as McReynolds, Ryan Guzman as Roper, Blake Jenner as Jake, Dora Madison as Val, Glen Powell as Finnegan, Wyatt Russell as Willoughby and Jonathan Breck in the role of Coach Gordon.

Plot

The story follows everyday life of college newcomers who join the baseball team. They’re doing their best to cope with the responsibilities and freedoms of adulthood without parents’ watchful eye. It’s going to be a nice slacker comedy about day-today events happening with college student united with common interests and duties.

INTERESTING

The film is going to be the continuation for the Linklater’s “Dazed and Confused” and “Boyhood”. The two films centered round the life of a newcomer in the college and his relations with his roommates and his girlfriend. The third film will continue the events of “Boyhood”.

The original title of the third part was “That’s What I’m Talking About”. It was a phrase taken out from one of the dialogues in “Dazed and Confused” (released in 1993).

The film was partially created at Texas State University.

The film got an R rate for the language throughout the story, sexual content, nudity and drug use.
