Alien: Covenant is a sci-fi horror film ready to be released in spring of this year. That’s an American project created under the direction of Ridley Scott. The author of the script is John Logan. The film was created as a sequel to Prometheus (2012). That’s one of the prequels to the series of films known under the title Alien. That’s the second sequel and the sixth part of the Alien franchise in general. That’s also the third film created under the direction of Scott. Plot
The action of the film revolves at a remote planet in one of the distant areas of the galaxy. The main characters of the film make up a crew from Covenant ship. They all look for the uncharted paradise situated somewhere in the universe. They finally get to their target but what they find is a dark world full of dangers inhabited by a synthetic android named David and various monstrous creatures willing to hunt him down.

- Michael Fassbender portrays the character of a synthetic android named Walter and David. Walter was synthetically created by the Weyland Corporation. He’s a member of Covenant crew assistinf the team whenever necessary. David is a less advanced android, that was created earlier. He’s an ex-member of the Prometheus crew.
- Katherine Waterston portrays a terraforming expert named Daniels.
- Billy Crudup portrays the new Covenant captain.
- Danny McBride portrays the Covenant pilot.
- Noomi Rapace portrays an archaeologist named Dr. Elizabeth Shaw. She’s am ex-member of Prometheus crew.
- Guy Pearce portrays the billionaire named Peter Weyland. He founded Weyland Corporation. Died before Prometheus was destroyed.
- James Franco portrays the old Covenant captain named Branson. He’s also Daniels’ husband.
Alien: Covenant Release Date
The initially announced release date was the 4th of August 2017. However, the date was pushed to the beginning of spring of this year. Alien: Covenant sci-fi movie is planned for release on the 19th of May 2017. The release is carried out by 20th Century Fox.
