Apple will be able to release its 7th-generation portable device iPad 7 in 2015, as announced in the Bloomberg media.
The device is rumored to have a screen diagonal of 12.9 inches. The upcoming iPad will be the largest so far – the current models have the screen size of 7.9 to 9.7 inches. The device will be available from 2015. However, there has been no official confirmation of the iPad 7 release date.
Bloomberg also shared information about Apple’s plans to continue working on their iPad Mini and upgrading of the 9.7-inch device. The special sales will take place during the Christmas period. The company is also thinking of producing the larger iPhones. On September 9th, the 4.7- and 5.5-inch phones will be exhibited.
The new tablet
New iPads were announced in August 2014, and this immediately resulted in the increase in price of Apple’s shares by 1.4%, slightly more than $100 per share. This was a success for the company whose shares have been doing not always that well – the price at that time exceeded the price in September 2012, which has been known as the highest.
The screens for the new iPad devices were manufactured by Japanese companies Japan Display and Sharp, and other details were produced by LG, a South Korea-based company. In summer 2014, Apple’s factory in China has started working on the new models by assembling the devices. For a start, the tech company plans to release 80 million copies.
The new smartphones released by the company are different mainly due to their screen size. While the old models can boast only 4 inches of display, the previous ones have screens of 4.7 and 5.5 inches. Advanced Home Button sensors make the phones very responsive to different type of pressure the user applies. Regarding the shape, the new phones are thinner with angles slightly rounded.
In the 3rd or 4th quarter of 2015, the new iPad 7 release is expected.
